Arthur shared with us his involvement with the town of Dobromyl, Ukraine, where his father was born and much of his extended family were murdered during the Holocaust. His story emphasizes the connections between Jewish teachings and genealogy, the power of names, and how he helped Dobrymyl erect a Wall of Memory to honor and remember the Jews that were once so much a part of the fabric of the town.
